I love my school... they're giving us Halloween off! Actually, they're not giving us "Halloween" off, they're giving us "October 31st" off, and they're giving us November 4th off too! So we get a three day weekend, a three day week, and then another three day weekend! I can't wait till Halloween...

Ok, so tagged me. Don't I feel special...
I doubt I can come up with 42 random facts about myself. Unless I can come up with more. I really want to beat ~Coolhand2 though...

1. I play the piano and the violin. I played the flute, but I quit so I could play violin...
2. I suck at the violin though.
3. I've never gone out with a guy. I've been asked out though.
4. Of course, the people that ask me out are never the ones that I like...
5. I broke my collarbone in 5th grade. My friend's head broke it.
6. Everyone who knows me enough to have a decent conversation with me knows I LOVE horses. More than I love a lot of people, that's for sure.
7. I've probably spent a quarter of each day in the past year IMing people. Or just being on AIM.
8. I used to figure skate. Most of the kids in my town from NH skated.
9. I don't really play any sport right now. That doesn't make my parents too happy...
10. I've never cussed in my life.
11. I don't watch TV. I spend all my time on the computer.
12. My dad just bought me Photoshop CS2.
13. Thirteen actually isn't an unlucky number. For me. I was the 13th player in a piano competition last year, and I got third place. Even though I didn't think I had a chance to win at all.

15. Reading for me usually involves reading at least three books at once. That becomes rather confusing. Especially because I refuse to use bookmarks.
16. I hate math. But I'm good at it. So I'm taking two math classes at the same time...

18. I find pretty much all my classes at school boring. Except for orchestra. I love orchestra...
19. We're going to Kansas City in March for orchestra. It should be pretty interesting...

After stressing out for six weeks, I went to the "Albuquerque Music Teachers Association's" Honors Audition (hehe, that sounds so formal ) piano competition yesterday, and I did much better than I thought. I beat someone I didn't expect to beat, and ended up in 2nd place. Not as good as first, obviously, but hey, what can I do?
People seem impressed with my "ability" to juggle both school and piano... I find that kinda funny, because they never seem to take into account that we have free periods all the time during school, plus we have study halls every other day, and I can just get out and practice... I suppose that impressing people is good, because I'm just not a very impressive person. I'm a nerd. But nerds are really awesome...
Let's see... since this is my first journal entry, I do have a few things to say. First, to anyone who takes the time to look at my work, I really appreciate it. And if anyone comments, well, I really, really, really appreciate it.
Since I'm fairly new here (and I hadn't been doing much at first,) from what I've seen, dA is much more of a community than many other sites I've been a part of. (Like Elfwood... I used to be in love with Elfwood...)
Well, I'm off. I hope to hear from some of you, and I look forward to getting to know you all better!
Oh, and if anyone actually read all of that, I'm impressed.
